  • Large air tank is ~9.75″ in diameter and 24″ long
    • Large air tanks pitted and forward most large tank has significant battery acid corrosion
  • Replace clamps on small air tank (and larger ones, too?)
  • Evaluated frame storage / stowage locations and items
  • Tightened loose frame bolt

    1. Yeah, some of the places we are planning on going have about 260 miles between fueling locations. If we get there and fuel is unavailable for any reason, we’d pretty much be stuck. A stock M1078 truck has a maximum of about 400 miles of range, so we want to carry about 40% extra fuel so we could do at least 540 miles. Many people that convert these trucks add a second fuel tank so they can get 800 miles of range, but we wanted more storage in that area and 800 miles of range is probably more than we require. We’d like to have about 4 jerry cans of extra fuel. It comes in handy if our heater and other appliances run off diesel as well.
